Career Note (2021-2023)

Took a sabbatical to pursue screenwriting — completed coursework in feature film and TV writing, finished a feature screenplay and TV pilot, and volunteered on two film production crews and appeared as an extra on a third. The unexpected takeaway: experiencing communication-forward production culture, where nightly script revisions were color-coded, distributed, and discussed with the full crew. It reframed how I think about communication in technical teams. It was engrained in the process because the work depends on it.
